A few sssimple points to cover!
- TEMPORARY CLOSURE
- Due to a series of unfortunate events, we WILL BE CLOSED from MARCH 16, 2022, THROUGH APRIL 6, 2022. If you cannot wait until after April 6, 2022 for your order to ship, DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER. Orders will begin shipping AFTER April 6, 2022.
- COVID and delayed delivery
- EXPECT DELAYED DELIVERY! Your order, regardless of shipping service selected, will most likely experience a delay of some sort! We ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for delays, and if you cannot possibly suffer a delayed delivery time, do not place an order. Read more here.
- Domestic Orders: Expect a delay in delivery. We do not have control over giant international shipping companies, nor do we have control over nature (such as COVID or the weather), nor do we have control over politics. If you are upset about delivery times, you are welcome to return your item for a refund. We CAN NOT issue a refund without a return.
- International Orders: While some Standard Service international orders may arrive in as little as 10 days, expect your shipping to take 30+ days. We CAN NOT issue a refund because your order is taking longer to arrive.
International Priority shipping is also delayed, but should arrive within 30 days. However, this is not guaranteed, and due to circumstances outside of our control (we do not have control over international shipping companies nor do we have control over nature), there may be further delays. We CAN NOT issue a refund if your order is delayed due to extenuating shipping circumstances. We CAN NOT issue a refund without a return. - We reserve the right to deny service, assistance, or ban customers from our store if you behave in a way that makes anyone feel unsafe or abused. We WILL report you to local authorities if you issue death threats against us for any reason. If your item is delayed in shipping and you threaten to kill someone over that, you will be reported to authorities and banned from further service immediately. We WILL NOT accept returns or issue refunds or provide any further assistance to anyone that makes threats against us.
- TUNES AND CHIPS
- If you ever buy a SSSQUID chip and it doesn’t work properly, we will send you a new one. That means: you buy one used on eBay, you buy one from a forum member, you get a free one from a friend… whatever the case happens to be, if you receive a non-functional chip, and the issue can’t be resolved on your end, just ship the old chip back and you’ll get a brand-spanking new chip in the mail as soon as possible.
- If it has been more than 30 days since purchase, the user is responsible for shipping and handling charges.
- If the chip was obtained from a second or third party, the user is responsible for shipping and handling charges.
- There is no time limit on this offer. It could be 10 days away, or 20 years from now.
- This does not cover physical damage.
- However, any physically damaged SSSQUID chip can be traded for a new one with a small fee.
- If, for some reason, something out of your control happens and the chip is no longer in working order, you will get a brand new chip in the mail as soon as possible, no hassle; no headache: no worries! Just return the non-functioning chip and pay shipping for the new chip.
- This product may not be legal in your state/country for highway use. Please check with your local DMV for more information.
- While many of our chips have been shown time-and-time-again to pass local smog and emissions standards, often providing a cleaner output and increased MPG over stock, it really depends on your car. As such, SSSQUID cannot offer any guaranty that the tunes will pass any emissions standards.
- We are not responsible for any damages that may occur to you and/or your vehicle. User accepts full responsibility of any damages that may happen during installation and/or usage.
- If you ever buy a SSSQUID chip and it doesn’t work properly, we will send you a new one. - DOWNLOADABLE FILES
- All downloadable files are considered private property and are available to you, and you alone. They are not shareware or opensource, and any unauthorized distribution is a prosecutable offense.
- PARTS AND ACCESSORIES
- All parts come with a 30 day warranty* unless otherwise stated. This includes manufacturer defects. This does NOT include user error, user caused damage, or natural wear.
- *from date of delivery. If tracking is unavailable, date of sale + 5 days will be the start of warranty period.
- We are not responsible for user errors or issues caused by improper user installation.

- RETURNS
- Refunds will be issued only after an item has been returned.
- Parts:
- Returns are accepted on parts within 30 days of purchase (local) or within 30 days of item delivery (online).
- Returns are only accepted for unused parts. If the part has been used or damaged by the user, we reserve the right to deny any return.
- Returns older than 30 days but less than 90 days qualify for store credit only.
- Tunes:
- Tuning is a service. You can return a chip or an ECU within 30 days of purchase (local) or 30 days of item delivery (online) for a refund of the hardware costs, but we can not issue a refund on a service that has already been rendered.
- ECU Repair/Building:

- ECU building is a service. You can return any built ECU within 30 days of purchase (local) or 30 days of item delivery (online) for a refund on the hardware costs, we can not issue a refund on the work-hours rendered.

- Services:
- Services that have already been rendered are non-refundable.
- Services that have not yet been rendered can be refunded up to 100%.
- Services which have already received work hours, items, or other tangibles can qualify for a partial refund depending on the specific circumstance and is subject to approval.
- TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- We reserve the right to update or change our terms, conditions, and/or warranties at any time for any reason.
- CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
- Check with your local government for on-road legality of whichever item you wish to purchase. We are not responsible for your local government’s laws and regulations.
- If you are rude, abusive, or try to hold us responsible for something outside of our control (such as delayed delivery, an installation issue that we did not cause, or any modifications you’ve made), we reserve the right to deny any further service or assistance, and ban you from our store for any amount of time we see fitting. We will not put up with any more bratty children who attack or threaten us. The world is garbage enough without you making it worse for everyone around you. Grow up and see a therapist.
